Review: Blindsided by JL Campbell (Relative Ties Book 2)

Synopsis:

Gordon Raimes is used to having things his way and is a man on a mission. When his fiancée leaves him standing at the altar, he’s blindsided by her desertion. N.B. Blindsided is a sweet romance. While there are references to the act of lovemaking, there are no open-door love scenes in this book.

My Review:

Gordon and Caroline had me stressing out for a minute. At first I didn’t know what secret she could possibly be holding onto that would make her want to walk away from a man that she loves. Once that secret came out I understood why she wanted to run, but I also feel like she should have told Gordon before the ceremony. He would have her back and protect her. But fear has a way of stopping you from moving forward.

So much inner turmoil going on between the Gordon and Caroline. They each have their own inner issues to deal with and while reading you start to wonder if they will ever heal and be together again. Blindsided was a really great book and makes you think about how much stuff you hold onto in your life, what you should let go and what you should ask for help with.
