Review: Love by the Books by Te Russ

The last year for Carmen hasn’t been the best… and that’s putting it mildly. But things are starting to look up. Especially when she meets Sebastian, a lover of books and an obvious man of her own heart. From the minute Sebastian locks eyes with Carmen, he knows there’s something special about her. And he intends to find out just what that is. In no time, they discover that their passion for each other just may be stronger than their passion for books.

Starting over is always a little rough at times and that’s exactly what Carmen is doing. Venturing out on her own and trying to make a name for herself and her client without the big publishing house backing her. Her encounter with the gorgeous Sebastian makes going to the bookstore a whole new experience.

Carmen and Sebastian are both fulfilling their passions in life. They each had to take a step and remove themselves from their comfort zone in order to be happy. While following their dreams they fall into each other’s hearts. Te Russ brings you another great story-line. Love by the Books has the sensual aspect that you look for in a Te Russ book, but also shifts your thought process to think about your life and are you truly happy with what you are doing.

Books may have bought them together, but love, appreciate and trust keeps them whole. Their pasts come back to question their morals. But they lean on each other to get through it. This book makes you realize that you truly have to be ready to be vulnerable to the person that you love.

I really enjoyed this book. There were some secondary characters in this book that need their own story (hint hint).
